History of Worship Tabernacle

The first ever service for Worship Tabernacle, formerly known as First Pentecostal Church of Highland, was held on Sunday, July 12th, 2015 at the Lincoln Community Center, room 112 in Highland, Indiana. Pastor and Sister Hāug were both very excited about starting this home missions church. Services were held every Sunday morning at this same location till March 2016. In March 2016, through the generousity of Rev. Phil Endris and The Rock Church, Worship Tabernacle started holding services in a church building at 231 North Broad Street. Worship Tabernacle is experiencing a great revival! Praise God!

All this is becoming reality due to the vision and calling of Rev. Aaron J. Haug from when he was just 16 years old. Pastor Haug had felt from the age of 16 that he would be building a church in the NWI region someday. He waited upon his calling and at beginning of 2015, Pastor Haug's. Pastor, Rev. Jerry Patrick approached him to ask what he felt his calling was. Pastor Haug filled Pastor Patrick in on what he invisioned at 16 years old and Pastor Patrick provided his blessings on Pastor Haug to start Worship Tabernacle.

Worship Tabernacle maybe a home missions church; however, this church has big things in store for it. The mission of this church is to see souls saved and make heaven their home. Second, this church does not want to see anyone hurting or going without. Third this church makes anyone who walks through the doors family and wants to see everyones needs met. Loving souls...loving people.

Please feel free to come join us for service and see what God can do for you, your life, and your family.

It is truly a good life living for God.
